So I figure I should post something once a while and what better way then to talk about the awesomeness that is Gokaiger. Seriously it's almost impossible to coherently describe my feeling on this show, and it's only been one episode.
Okay so the first thing we see is the ranger war, all of the past 34 sentai teams fighting a gigantic horde of foot soldiers, I've seen it five times and it is still one of the most awesome things ever. After the fight and the sentai teams lose their powers taking out a fleet of spaceships we get to see the Gokaigers, and their robot parrot. They find out Earth has the greatest treasure on it, which pleases Luka who really likes treasure and money. Unfortunately the empire, the bad guys from the ranger war, are back to attack Earth, so the Gokaigers attack them in what is easily the greatest mecha battle I've seen involving the Gokai-oh taking out a lot of ships.
After taking out all those sips the rangers finally appear on Earth, where they proceed to ask the civilians to hand over the treasure, naturally this confuses the civilians who have no idea about the treasure. Captain Marvelous, yes that really is the red rangers name, wants food, which he'll pay for by selling Luka's ring, and Luka's reaction is hilarious.
So they sell the ring and then head to a place called the Snack Safari where they all order curry, only for the building to explode, it takes the Gokaigers a little while to work this out though. They go out and find the ship that caused the explosion, except Luka who picks up as much money as she can.
They first decide to run back to their ship but Ahim stops being reminded of her home planet, they eventually decide to help and we get our first morph which is good, nothing spectacular but that's the point. Then we get an awesome fight scene, I would talk about what was awesome but I'd be here forever, I will say the dual wielding of guns and swords were brilliant though. Partway through the fight they transform into the Gorangers, aka the first ever sentai team, which is cool and then they transform a football into a garbage truck which sucks up a bunch mooks.
So eventually they beat the monster and the civilians they saved thank them, Marvelous brushes them off saying they only did it because they ruined their meal.
So that was it, and it was awesome, all the characters look great, especially Don who seems like a sentai Ziggy, and Marvelous who just manages to scream badass while coming across as Luffy from One Piece, not that Luffy isn't a badass.
As for Samurai, well the first two episodes have been alright, nothing spectacular but very average episodes, of course as everything that's been said implied we'd be getting another version of Mighty Morphin' I wasn't expecting anything big and so I like it but it's nothing compared to Gokaiger

Well ignoring the fact that Ziggy has obviously time travelled, Ziggy would probably mumbles apologise and then walk out the room.

The Time force rangers find a record of an ancient battle that decimated the world, and so after picking up Eric and Wes they set off to stop it. Unfotunately they arrive too late and have to join forces with the RPM rangers to fight Venjix. Meanwhile Eric meets someone who reminds him of a woman he once loved.
I would probably read this story because the Time force rangers and the RPM rangers together would be awesome, Also I actually quite like Eric/Taylor and Eric/Summer would have a very similar dynamic so I wouldn't mind the romance parts.
Is there any such thing as 1(RJ)/8(Xander) fluff?
I highly doubt it, a flirt happy Australian and a weed smoking martial artist doesn't exactly sound like a promising pairing, though I could probably make a lot of pairings sound terrible if I wanted to.

Day 30-Favorite finale
The end of time. Come on I haven't seen Countdown to destruction so what else is there to choose. I really shouldn't have to explain why this is awesome, I mean everyone should have seen this. But really it's just so well done, everything, the emotion, the action. I really can't be bothered going everything that's awesome because I'll just go through the whole episode.
Wow, 32 updates in 30 days, I expect I'm not going to be doing that many updates any time soon.

Power ranger samurai trailer
Okay so almost nobody's going to read this but hey I might as well post it.
So the trailer's up, and I would post it but if anyone does read this you've probably already seen it, if not I don't care.
So thoughts, well I like what we've got, it's not mind blowing, but for power rangers it's pretty good. The acting I'm not going to comment on, we got barely any lines and really the acting on power rangers is really very good. It was good to hear the original theme, even if it didn't fit well and has no chance to be in the season. People are complaing about "rangers together samurai forever" but really the original series had morphinomenal and compared to that "rangers together samurai forever" is a brillinant piece of writing.
Of course no matter the promo's we get I'm going to be watching every episode of samurai.

Dark Wish. The episode where the Mystic force villians make it so the mystic force rangers never existed and thus get to take over Briarwood. Now ignoring the fact that if no new team of rangers showed up one of the many old teams, especially the military run Lightspeed rescue, would have done something this is a good start to the episode. But what makes this awesome is the fact that the rangers do everything they can to get their powers back, which in this case involves traversing a desert and participating in one of the best unmorphed fights of the series. But they don't get their powers back, and so they have to go back to Briarwood, and what do they do now that they are powerless, they fight, yep despite there being no chance of them winning they still try and fight, and it is this that gets them their powers back. All of that is why I like this episode, but it's mainly the awesome fight scene.

30 Days of PR, day 28
Day 28-Favorite under a spell
Best Man For The Job. The one where Tommy and Kim are put under a spell to hate each other while trying to run for class president, or something. Anyway they spend the entire episode arguing and it's hilarious, they even manage to fight the putties because there arguing. One of the few MMPR eps I've seen, and I'm glad because it was really good. Though the fact that sniffing flowers cured them was a terrible end, I mean what the hell is that?
